How much does a nursery accent wall cost?
A nursery accent wall costs the number of 30-inch panels across the wall times the price of one panel. On an 8-foot ceiling, a 5 ft wall takes 2 panels, $240; a 6 ft crib wall takes 3, $360; and a 10 ft wall takes 4, $480. Prices are before tax, with free US shipping. A $15 sample lets you check the design first.
1. What decides the cost.
An accent wall is one wall, so the cost is two numbers multiplied: how many panels you need across, and what one panel costs at your ceiling height.
- Panels across. Panels are 30 inches wide. Divide the wall width in inches by 30 and round up.
- Price per panel. Add 4 inches to the wall height for trim and alignment, then take the shortest panel that covers it. Taller panels cost more.

2. Three worked walls.

An 8-foot ceiling takes 108-inch panels and a 9-foot ceiling takes 120-inch panels. The crib wall width is an example: measure your own wall, because rooms and cribs differ.
- Small accent wall, 5 ft: 60 ÷ 30 = 2, so 2 panels. 2 × $120 = $240.
- Behind the crib, 6 ft: 72 ÷ 30 = 2.4, so 3 panels. 3 × $120 = $360.
- Standard wall, 10 ft: 120 ÷ 30 = 4, so 4 panels. 4 × $120 = $480.

3. What moves the total.
- Width, in whole panels. Cost rises one panel at a time. A 60-inch wall takes 2 panels, $240, but a wall one inch wider takes 3: $360. Measure at the top and bottom before you order.
- Ceiling height. A 9-foot ceiling needs the 120-inch panel, so every panel costs more than on an 8-foot ceiling.
- Papering less. A narrower wall, or a single wall instead of the whole room, means fewer panels.
- Windows and doors. They do not reduce the count, since panels are trimmed around them.

Panels are 30 inches wide, so the price per wall is the number of panels across times the price of one panel. On an 8-foot ceiling one 108-inch panel is $120; on a 9-foot ceiling one 120-inch panel is $125. A 10 ft wall is $480 on an 8-foot ceiling and $500 on a 9-foot ceiling.
Does a window or door lower the cost of an accent wall?
No. Panels are counted across the full width of the wall, and they run over windows, doors and outlets and are trimmed around them, so openings do not change the count.
Does the design change the price?
Not for the designs in this guide. Every one is priced the same per panel at each height, so you can choose by look and compare samples without the total moving.
