Peel and stick floral nursery wallpaper: soft flowers for any baby
For a floral nursery, start with Scandinavian floral nursery (small black line-drawn flowers on white) or Blush boho nursery (white botanical line drawings on soft blush pink). Both are light repeats that work for any baby. Pair them with a quiet companion such as Neutral Nursery Cloud, Clouds or Vintage Air Balloons. An 8-foot accent wall on an 8-foot ceiling takes four 108-inch panels, $480 for our kids' designs. Order a $15 sample of each finalist first.
1. What a soft floral nursery looks like.
A floral nursery does not have to be loud. The version most parents search for is small and light: fine flowers on a pale ground, with the crib, the bedding and the rug doing the rest. It reads as calm from the doorway and still gives you something to look at from the changing table.
- Paper one wall. Usually the crib wall, the one you see from the doorway. Flowers on all four walls are a lot for a small room.
- Decide black and white or blush. Black line-work on white looks crisp and graphic. Blush looks warmer and sits well with natural wood and woven baskets.
- Keep the rest plain. A floral wall leaves little room for a patterned rug and patterned curtains too.
Florals work for any baby, and both designs below come from our kids’ collections.
2. The two floral designs.
These are the florals made for a nursery, and they go in two directions. Our floral nursery wallpaper page puts them side by side with other soft botanicals.
- Scandinavian floral nursery: small black line-drawn flowers and stems spaced across white. The lightest of the florals, and the one that suits white or gray furniture.
- Blush boho nursery: white botanical line drawings on a soft blush-pink ground. The warmest pick, for a room with wood, rattan and linen.
Looking for a pink nursery without a floral? The girl nursery guide covers blush, bunnies and rainbows, and none of its designs is only for girls. If you want larger blooms for a different room, see our botanical wallpaper page.
3. Quiet companions for a floral wall.
If you want a second design for another wall, or a pattern to carry the theme without more flowers, these stay quiet beside a floral:
- Neutral Nursery Cloud: watercolor clouds in warm beige and olive tones, beside Blush boho nursery.
- Clouds: rounded white clouds drifting across a soft gray ground, beside Scandinavian floral nursery.
- Vintage Air Balloons: watercolor hot air balloons among clouds in soft pink and beige. A touch more pink for a room that already has a blush floral.
- Bunny nursery: black-and-white woodland rabbits with small botanical motifs, a storybook cousin of the black line florals.
- Teddy Bear Striped: teddy bears on gentle beige stripes in a sage palette, for a room that leans green.
- Minimalist floral: loose blue-and-white flower marks in a small printed repeat, for a floral wall in a cooler palette than black or blush.
To sort more designs by palette, see the gender-neutral nursery guide. For choosing and pairing blush tones, see the pink nursery guide. For rabbits among the flowers, see the bunny nursery guide.
4. Plan the wall and the panels.
Every kids’ design comes in 30-inch-wide panels in nine heights, priced $90 to $180 per panel. Divide the wall width by 30 and round up for the panel count. Add 4 inches to the wall height for trim and alignment, then choose the shortest panel height that covers it.
| Wall | Panels across | Panel height | Price |
|---|---|---|---|
| 8 ft wide, 8 ft high (96 × 96 in) | 96 ÷ 30 = 3.2, so 4 | 108 in | 4 × $120 = $480 |
| 13 ft wide, 8 ft high (156 × 96 in) | 156 ÷ 30 = 5.2, so 6 | 108 in | 6 × $120 = $720 |

5. Start with a $15 sample.
Line-work looks very different at arm’s length than across the room, and blush shifts with the light. See it on your wall before you order panels. Order a sample of each finalist from our samples page, or straight from a design: Scandinavian floral nursery sample, Blush boho nursery sample, Neutral Nursery Cloud sample or Clouds sample. Each is $15 with free US shipping.

Questions
What floral wallpaper works for a nursery?
Start with Scandinavian floral nursery, small black line-drawn flowers and stems spaced across white, or Blush boho nursery, white botanical line drawings on a soft blush-pink ground. Both are light repeats. Neutral Nursery Cloud, Clouds and Vintage Air Balloons sit beside them without adding more flowers.
Is there a peel and stick floral wallpaper for a baby girl's nursery?
Yes. Blush boho nursery is the softest pink here and Scandinavian floral nursery is black and white. Neither is made only for girls, so choose by the crib, the rug and the light in the room.
Will a floral wall feel too busy in a small nursery?
Both floral designs are small, light repeats, and most of the ground shows through. Paper one wall, usually behind the crib, and keep the other walls plain.
How many panels does a floral accent wall take?
Divide the wall width in inches by 30 and round up. An 8-foot wall on an 8-foot ceiling takes four 108-inch panels at $120 each, $480 for our kids' designs. A 13-foot wall takes six, $720.
