Star and Moon Nursery Wallpaper

A night sky is one of the few nursery themes that still makes sense when your child starts school. Stars, moons and planets suit a baby's room, and they carry on into a big-kid bedroom without looking babyish. Every design here is peel-and-stick: no paste, no water, panels pressed onto a smooth painted wall and peeled off when the room changes.

What's in the collection

Stars is the quietest design: small gray stars scattered evenly across white. From across the room it reads almost as a light texture, so it lasts long after any one theme. Moon and Bunny Nursery is the most nursery-like, with rabbits resting on crescent moons among stars in soft gray and white.

Watercolor Solar System brings the planets in: smiling planets and stars in a loose watercolor solar system on warm gray, a friendly take on space for toddlers and early school years. Clouds sets rounded white clouds across a soft gray ground. On its own it makes a small room feel lighter, and it sits well beside a starry wall in a shared or connected space.

Choosing for your space

  • For a newborn. Moon and Bunny Nursery and Clouds are soft gray and white, and calm to look at from the crib.
  • For a room that grows. Stars is the design most likely to last into the big-kid years. A space room can start with Watercolor Solar System and move to Stars when your child wants something quieter.
  • For a theme. If your child wants rockets and planets, our dinosaur and space guide covers space designs by age.

Sizing and price

Every design comes in 30-inch-wide panels in nine heights, priced from $90 to $180 per panel. Measure floor to ceiling, add 4 inches for trim and choose the shortest height that covers it, then divide the wall width by 30 and round up. A 10-foot-wide wall on an 8-foot ceiling takes four 108-inch panels at $120 each, $480 before tax.

Start with a $15 sample

Grays and whites change more than you'd expect between a sunny afternoon and a dim night feed. A $15 sample shows the true size of the stars and moons and how the gray sits next to your crib and trim. Tape it up for a few days before you order panels, and test how the adhesive behaves on your paint.

When they outgrow it

When it's time for a change, peel the panels off slowly from a top corner at a low angle. We haven't published our own removal tests yet, so test a sample on your paint before you commit to a full wall.

Questions

Which star wallpaper works for both a nursery and a big-kid room?

Stars, with small gray stars scattered across white, is the most flexible. It is calm enough for a nursery and reads as a light texture in an older child's bedroom.

Is there a moon wallpaper with bunnies?

Yes. Moon and Bunny Nursery shows rabbits resting on crescent moons with stars, in soft gray and white. It also appears on our woodland and bunny nursery page.

Can I pair a star wall with clouds?

Yes. Stars and Clouds share a soft gray and white palette, so one can go on the crib wall and the other in a reading nook or on a neighboring wall without clashing. Order a sample of each to check them side by side.

How many panels does a star accent wall take?

Divide the wall width in inches by the 30-inch panel width and round up. A 10-foot-wide wall on an 8-foot ceiling takes four 108-inch panels, $480 before tax for these designs.

How long does shipping take?

Shipping is free everywhere in the US. Every panel is printed to order, which takes 1-2 business days, and typical door-to-door time is about one week. You'll get a tracking link by email as soon as your order ships.
